Early Intervention

Marklund’s Early Intervention Program serves to identify and treat infants and toddlers ages 0-3 with developmental disabilities and delays. Our Early Intervention staff are credentialed by the state of Illinois as Developmental Therapists who offer evaluations, assessments, and on-going therapy.

Early Intervention determines the areas of developmental delays and intervenes to prevent further developmental compromise. Our program lays the groundwork for typical development by serving children in their natural setting (home or community).

Additionally, our staff educates parents and siblings on how to incorporate strategies into everyday activities in order to maximize learning opportunities.

Marklund does not bill families in our Early Intervention Program.
