CHARTER ONE PAVILION VOLUNTEERING
 Beyond
Events, a division of the Buona Companies has provided Marklund with a great opportunity
for volunteers and fundraising.
Their catering division, Beyond Events, manages concessions for the
Northerly Island concert venue, Charter One Pavilion, in downtown
Chicago (formerly Miegs Field). For each volunteer we provide to
work in their main concession tent serving food and drinks for
concerts, they will donate a portion of their sales to Marklund.
Facts:
• We need approximately 50 volunteers per concert.
• Buona will provide transportation located at a convenient location
central to all volunteers signed up for a particular concert.
• All volunteers must 16 years old and over. Only volunteers over 21
will work the cash registers and serve alcohol.
• Total time commitment is approximately eight hours including
travel time. Mid-afternoon to approximately 11:00pm. Times
vary depending on concert start times (see below).
• Training is provided by Beyond Events staff before gates open.
• All volunteers will work together operating cash registers,
serving food and beverages. (Taxes are included in pricing, with
prices rounded to the dollar)
• Beyond Events staff work side-by-side with volunteers.
• Breaks and dinner provided.
• Uniform aprons, hats, name badges will be provided. Volunteers
must wear khaki pants (no jeans), rubber soled closed shoes, socks
and a white t-shirt.
• No heavy lifting or extensive clean-up.
• CLOSE TO STAGE, CAN ENJOY THE MUSIC!!
