Lifespan Respite
The demands of caring for a loved one with special healthcare needs can be overwhelming and can challenge even the strongest among us. Through our Lifespan Respite Program, Marklund offers community resources to assist with caregiver health and family stability, as well as on-site respite care depending upon space availability.
Marklund’s Lifespan Respite Program was created by caregivers for caregivers. Trained respite workers provide quality services for individuals with special healthcare needs across their lifespan.
Training
Training is available to those interested in providing Respite Care as well as for family caregivers. Our program offers Family Centered Caregiver training that is both compassionate and skilled.
Marklund's commitment to respite care includes our membership to the Illinois Respite Coalition.
