At Marklund, we believe that our residential facilities are homes first. All of our facilities meet the extraordinary needs of residents while providing them with the most comprehensive care in the most normalized and home-like environment.

The Marklund Children’s Home is home to individuals under the age of 21 as well as adults with severe medical compromise.

Marklund at Mill Creek homes serve adults in a campus setting.

Each residential facility is staffed with dedicated and compassionate individuals who treat each resident as if they are members of their own families. One example of daily care we meet is to ensure that each resident is bathed every single day of the year.

In the homes, we focus on resident goals and activities in an efficient and normal routine. Any given day could feature a trip to a Cubs game, the mall, the aquarium, the movies, or any activity that is of interest to their age range. We adapt events to allow our residents to enjoy each of every day of their lives.
