ADULT DEVELOPMENTAL TRAINING
 Located on the Mill Creek Campus, Marklund’s
Adult Development Training program serves up to 102 clients over the
age of 18 in six classrooms. Clients receive personalized attention
from the developmental instructor and three developmental trainers
(certified nursing assistants) in each room. Staff to client ratio
is kept low to ensure the best training environment possible.
Adult Developmental Training at Marklund focuses on activities of
daily living and meeting goals – all in a normalized environment.
Also incorporated into the learning routine for clients is the
Snoezelen therapy room and consistent use of aqua therapy through
the pool and whirlpool.
