Long-time Marklund volunteers will match your gift, dollar-for-dollar,
up to a total of $5,000, if we receive it by June 30!

In times of uncertainty such as this, our primary goal is to keep our residents and our staff safe, 24/7.
Although this current crisis presents us with many challenges
– Marklund WILL remain
long after the effects of COVID-19 are gone.
The best way you can help our most vulnerable residents right now is with a donation.

Marklund Philip Center resident Mikey loves lights and music, so the staff chose to incorporate them into his therapy.  One of his therapy activities involves an adaptive switch device that plays the sounds of drums, cymbals, and a xylophone. He also loves spending time in the Snoezelen Room at Marklund, which is a specially designed environment that provides therapeutic, multisensory stimulation. He likes pushing buttons to change the colors of the lights on various devices in the room.

Mikey has access to his favorite therapy activities, and a caring staff to work with him, because of generous supporters like YOU!  However, the adaptive switch devices and technology he uses are expensive and often need replaced. Your gift will help us ensure Mikey, and all of our residents, can continue to enjoy their favorite activities at Marklund.

Remember, long-time Marklund volunteers will match your gift, dollar-for-dollar, up to a total of $5,000, if we receive it by June 30! These anonymous volunteers have formed a special relationship with Marklund Philip Center resident, Mikey, and said, “Over the past 10 years we have gone on numerous community outings with Mikey. We are very pleased with his remarkable progress and the energy he exhibits.”

Your support means so much to us in times like these.
Your gift will help make everyday life possible for everyone we serve!
