Event Day Parking

Please plan to arrive early to allow enough time to park and get to the starting line.

*Parking at the Marklund Wasmond Center will be reserved for handicapped ONLY.

To ensure safety on the course for all our participants, please avoid parking on the course route in the neighborhoods behind the Marklund Wasmond Center and the Nathan Education Center! Review the Course Map by clicking here: 2026 RWR-E Course Map

Parking is available at the following locations, with shuttle service provided to the event site:
1. Nathan Education Center, 1210 Hunter Drive, Elgin, IL 60120
2. Lords Park Elementary School, 323 Waverly Drive, Elgin, IL 60120.

Shuttle Service:
Shuttles will run continuously on a loop between both parking locations and the Wasmond Center throughout the morning. Return shuttle service will also be available after you complete the course.

Because parking is limited, we STRONGLY encourage and request carpooling as much as possible.

RUN, WALK & ROLL HISTORY

Marklund’s Run, Walk & Roll was established in 2013 as a fun and community friendly way to raise awareness and support for Marklund’s programs and services. From the initial Run, Walk & Roll logo designed by Geneva High School students, to the enormous support from our local businesses, neighbors and friends, this event continues to surpass all expectations.

Since its inception, the Run, Walk & Roll Series has raised $1,359,905.63 in net proceeds to support the children and adults with developmental disabilities being cared for at Marklund.
