About Walls of Wasmond

Marklund’s expansion project aims to not only enhance the physical space but also enrich the lives of those we serve. With your generous support, we will create a facility that is truly tailored to the unique needs of individuals with disabilities, providing them with an environment where they can flourish and reach their fullest potential.

The expansion will see an addition of 20,000 square feet of space, allowing us to accommodate an extra 24 beds. This increase will raise our residential capacity from 61 to 85 individuals, opening our doors wider to those in need of specialized care and support.

Furthermore, the newly expanded facility will introduce a dedicated recreation room, living/dining areas, multiple nurses’ stations, staff offices, a spa room, and an additional classroom to grow our Community Day Service program. It will also allow us to bring in newer medical technology and 24/7 vent care to better serve those under Marklund’s care.

Every aspect has been meticulously designed to promote comfort, engagement, and well-being for our residents and community clients.

We anticipate the project’s completion by late fall of 2025.
